Just a Quick Note ...

Sammy wants you to know that he went to see our doggie doctor on Saturday and he has lost 1/10 of a pound! That is proof that Mom is starving him. Mom says it probably has more to do with the fact that she didn't feed him breakfast until after they got home.

Maggie and Jake and Aunt Bec came over to visit last night. They got here before Mom got home from work so Aunt Bec fed us our dinner. Somehow Mom knew that we had already gotten our dinner so Mom didn't feed us again. Rats!

Aunt Bec gave us each a snausage. That was wonderful but we had to share with Maggie and Jake. Mom said we wouldn't even notice. It really is okay because we love our cousins. It's the best fun when all five us run and bark at things together. For some reason Aunt Bec and Mom don't like us to bark at things when we are in our back yard. They say the neighbors are not as appreciative of our fun.

Mom let us outside a little more tonight. She says it's going to get cold and rainy and we won't want to be outside tomorrow. We hope it doesn't get cold and rainy because we don't like cold and rainy! Huskies need to keep the cold up north and out of where we live. Mom says she needs to buy more paper towels.

We didn't get any snausages tonight. Mom says she would give them to us if we would get off of her but we like to lay on top of her. We would rather do that than get snausages.

That's all. Life is still boring. Mom is working a little late each day which means we have even less time for something interesting to happen. If something does happen, we will be sure to tell you all about it.

I dunno about that 1/10th of a pound .. maybe he was sitting on the scale funny. It stinks when life is boring .. I know EXACTLY how you feel! It has been 43 degrees below zero and we don't even want to go outside to do our business! Sure am glad it warmed up to zero today! I got to go outside and bark my head off!

My Mom was able to help me lose some weight by switching my dog food to a low cal one. Have you tried that? My sister Holly had a weight problem and in the end we discovered it was her thyroid. But I am sure your vet is on top of that. Running around in the back yard will help.

I would be interested to see a picture of all three of you on your Mom's lap at the same time.

Sammy isn't really on a diet. He eats diet food because he gains weight easily. He thinks he is starving. Losing a tenth of a pound is proof to him that he is starving.

Cairo's humans did the Time cover. here is the link to the entry where they did them. They were even wonderful enough to add a blank template so you can make one for yourself.

OH NO, Cubby! We were hoping Mom was wrong but if weatherman Cubby says it is raining north of us, it is definitely going to rain here. And it's the weekend. It's just NOT FAIR!!!

Clearly Sammy needs more snausages!
We have sleet right now. It's slippy and the wind-chill is in the single digits. It would only be better if it was SNOWING!

Yum. Snausages. 1/10th of a pound? Does that mean you can have 1/10th of a pound of snausages to make it up? I don't have breakfast much anymore but I sure do have a big dinner!
