Almost a Catastrophe!

We almost had a catastrophe occur tonight. Take a look at the following picture ...

The bin on the left is Andy's food. The bin on the right is Sammy's and Roxie's food. Do you notice anything odd? Well, WE noticed! It was a CATastrophe of CATastropic proportions! We have other issues with Mom but this one CATupulted to the top of the list!

Can you believe Mom let the food bin get that empty? Can you believe anyone who says she loves us would let this happen? What are we to do?

What? There's another picture to show them? What is it? Oh ...

Maybe we overreacted a little bit.

Wow cool! Our doggie food bins are almost the same - except mine is sorta space-age shaped. Our dry looks the same too - pretty boring. Bring on the cans!

Texas (and his humans).

P.S. Glad you didn't starve :D

Whoa! That was scary for a minute there!
Our supper=dupper holder looks a lot like that, too. Is yours on wheels?

Dave

your mom should have just given you the other food...just for one day! my mom and dad didn't realize they let me run out of food one day so i got CAT food for one night!!! I LOVED IT!! now my dad (he makes my food now that the baby is on the way) sometimes gives me a tiny bit of cat food on top of my food. (mom is not super happy about it!) mmmmmmm i don't know what they put in that stuff but its YUMMY!!

Hey - we have a supper holder that looks like that now that Chani girl figured out how to get into the dog food bag. Too bad you couldn't eat Andy's food but at least there was another bag on hand. Phew. I was worried for a minute there.

Perhaps you over-reacted with hindsght but this is your dinner we're talking about so should be marked as a National crisis!

I sometimes sneak kitty kibble myself or mom sometimes gives me a little in my dish when she fills the cats. My food holder is a big one with a screw-on lid so I can't get in to it. The cat food is in a smaller screw-on lid. Bombs couldn't open those things!

My food is in a big metal can inside the pantry. It is taller than I am, but then everything si taller than I am. Mom almost never lets it get really low and I have never eaten cat food ... correction .... I've never been GIVEN cat food on PURPOSE. I have eaten it lot of times when I have been lucky enough to find some.

Hey- if you ran out of dog food, your mom would have to cook you some real food! Like human food! Hide your dog food some evening and see if she cooks you a pot roast or sausage and eggs.
Big Wags,
Isabella

Don't worry Dachsies, you are forgiven. Besides, you called me 'an interesting person' and that is a wonderful compliment.

Now get back to guarding that food! :-)

Oh my dog.

Close call there doooogs.

Now I understand your howl at my smelly blogplace.

Can you hear my tummy rumbling all the way over there?

At least if you keep posting about food it'll remind me of what I'm missing...

Chow for now,

Tin Tin (who needs to lose 5 kilos, pah!) xo

Those are really nice bins. Where did you get them? All this time, I have been scooping the food out of the bag when I could have been having less mess with those bins!

I feel for the three of you. Don't let your pet think she can get away with this diet idea. You are terrific just the way you are, and if you like second helpings, there is nothing wrong with you.

That was not funny at all!! Sometimes my big sis lets the food get dangerously low before refilling. Yikes!! I like to think that if she did though, she'd have no choice but to give me her food. Hmmm... maybe your predicament was not such a bad one afterall! :)
