A Day With Mom! And Good-bye, Thrawn ...

What a great day we had today! Mom stayed home with us and we got to sit with her and get petted by her and even got some treats from her! We almost never have a day like that unless we go to the country ... where there isn't anything for her to do BUT spend time with us.

One of our human cousins came over and he played with us too. They said he came to watch a basketball game with Mom but we know he came to see us. Everyone who comes to this house comes to see us!

Of course, that means Mom didn't work on our Christmas cards. She promises tomorrow she will get more done. We think we were right when we said our cards would be the last ones mailed and the last ones everybody gets.

On a sad note, we want to say good-bye to Thrawn of the Brat Pack. He has been one of our favorite dogs to visit. The Brat Pack lives in Texas too, so we have felt close to them because they are neighbors. Nothing is quite as sad as losing a devoted pet especially so close to the holidays. We are glad Thrawn had his family to love him and care for him. He was a very lucky guy to have found such a wonderful family. We were lucky to be called a friend by him. Good-bye, Thrawn. We miss you.

Glad your mom spent the whole day with you. Humans always come to the house to visit us dogs even if they say differently.
We loved Thrawn to and it is sad he is gone.

My Mom wanted me to say good-bye .. she said she has a new business that is taking up a lot of her time and we have to stop dog blogging ... so take care ... enjoy the country and the good life!

A big man with a white beard and a very loud laugh may emerge from your fireplace in the middle of the night. Don't bite him.

Wishing You All Merry Christmas
A Happy New Years,

Hi, friends.
Sure you were happy to have your mom all day for you!
I agree with you. If someone comes to my house is to see me, of course!
I am so sad about Thrawn too.
Have a good night

Hi guys,
It's been a while since I heard from you too. Hoomans are always busy but I guess if work brings home the bacon, we don't have much of a choice do we?
I miss Thawn a lot too. He was a great buddy.
