Happy Feet!

We are going to the country!
We are going to the country!
(Don't worry, "going to the country" is a good thing!)

Mom told us we are going the the country this weekend! She is taking Friday off and Aunt Bec gets off work at noon, so we are going Friday afternoon and we don't have to come back until Monday!! We will be able to run and bark and bark and run and run and bark and bark and ... well, you get the idea.

This almost makes up for the fact that Mom and Aunt Bec went to the country on Sunday and didn't take any fur-babies. Mom says we wouldn't have liked being there on Sunday because there were so many people we didn't know. It turns out they had a meeting to go to. Roxie went to the meeting three years ago when she was a puppy. There were some human puppies there that weren't very nice to her and scared her. Mom thinks it is best to just keep us away from situations like that. So, even though we really would have liked to be in the country last weekend, we will think about forgiving Mom once she takes us this weekend.

(The reason we don't have to come back until Monday is because Memorial Day is observed on Monday. Mom and Aunt Bec will make sure they do something to personally observe Memorial Day because we should not forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice.)

Run and bark and bark and run and run and bark ... sounds like my kind of fun. I guess barking is allowed in the country? Have a great weekend and take lots of pictures.

It's going to be fun fun fun at the country huh? :) At least your Mom decided to bring ya'all along now. What's Memorial Day about?
PS : I hear about Andy wanting to apply to be my boyfriend. I have to ask Mom again and make a list of my potential boyfriends. If there's a list of course. One cannot be too certain. *sigh*

Hi, Dachsies. I told you that maybe your mom had a good reason for not taking all of you to the country then!
Have fun, run, bark, and do all the things you use to do there!
I'll be waiting for your report!
Have a good night

I had one of those human baby things at my house today and I did NOT like it at all. I tried to nip it twice but Mom got mad and Chani actually bodychecked me and growled at me so I couldn't get to it again. Harrumph. Some sister.

Have fun in the country - bark at some cowdogs for me!

I hope you have a great weekend in the country! Your mom is smart to protect you from the human pups. They aren't very much fun and most of them really need some obedience training.
