All Hail Broke Loose Tonight

We're not sure you can tell from this picture but all hail broke loose tonight. The table is covered with pretty good sized balls of ice!

Mom was glad she had made it home, put the car in garage and got herself into the house before all of this happened. It went on for a long time and the power even went out. We were sitting around by candlelight. We didn't like it at all. The noises outside were strange and the house was too quiet inside with no television or air conditioning or anything.

We have a movie of the hail but Mom can't remember how to convert it so she can upload it to YouTube. If she can figure it out, she promises to come back and add it to this entry.

We have to go to bed now. There has been just too much excitement for one night.

You Dachsies do seem to get some pretty extreme weather over there. Glad you are all ok and that your Mom made it home before it started.

We get power cuts here sometimes in the heavy rain - but not for long. And in summer when everyone puts on their airconditioning - except us 'cos we don't have any.

Hi guys. Hails are scary. We had one some days ago and my mom was driving while it happened. She says it was awful.
I am so happy that you and your mom are fine!.
