We're Starving!

Well, remember the trip to the doctor's office? One of the things we didn't mention was the fact that we all three had gained weight. Now, it's not our fault. Mom was sick and gave us treats so we would not be difficult. Since she wasn't feeling very good, she didn't even bother to break the big treats in half. So we got big treats and we gained a little weight.

Roxie is supposed to weigh 20 - 21 pounds and she weighs 22.2
Sammy is supposed to weigh 15.5 - 16.5 pounds and he weighs 17.3
Andy is supposed to weigh about 18 pounds and he weighs 20

Well ... Mom decided that extra weight is bad for us so we all went on diets (well, everyone but MOM). We are getting less food in the bowl at meal times. And the treats don't come as often. We think this is very unfair. We didn't cause this problem; why should we be the ones to suffer? And believe us ... we are suffering!

Hopefully we will get back to our proper weights soon and start getting more treats.

Oh, and it is raining here again! It has rained every day this week and the forecast says there is more coming. (Anybody want us to send them the rain???) Lucky for Mom she has lots of paper towels ...

I'm thinking...and go with me on this one...that if she would cut down on the normal food and double the treats..that should work...moms dont knwo that ...but i have done research..and it works well.

My parents have put me on diets. Oh, how I hate the diets. Woe is me.

Have mercy on their tiny little tummies! Feed the pups, pleeeeaaaaaase.

Diets are stinkers. Mom keeps me on a strict one, too.

I weigh 14.5 pounds and my Doctor say that is perfect. Try getting Mom to take you for walks or play with you more. I sympathise with you though .. diets are no fun.

Oh no - not a diet! Mom put Chani on one and she is ALWAYS hungry. Just yesterday Mom said she could feel Chani's ribs so now she gets a bit more food in her bowl. Suck in your tummies and everything else when your Mom pets you - if she can feel your ribs maybe you'll get more food too!
