New Clock for Feeding Time

We were just reading Charlie's blog and he has developed a new clock for feeding time. Every house with a pet needs one. We are going to order clocks for Mom, Aunt Bec and Grandma and Grandpa. We dachshunds need to be fed at the proper times and this clock will insure that the proper times are noted.

Well, Mom was gone all day yesterday and came home not very happy. She went to a football game and the other team scored with 26 seconds left in the game and her team lost. She should have just stayed home with us! On the good side, though, Aunt Bec came over to feed us and let us out to run around. She decided to stay for a while so we could get some attention. She felt sorry for us because we were being neglected by Mom. (She never really said that but we are sure that is the reason.)

Wow, can you believe it is October already. We have to figure out what we are going to wear to the annual Halloweiner party. Dachshund Rescue of Houston has a party every year for us. Our human pets are invited too but the party is for us. If you follow the link, you can see some of the costumes from last year. We aren't in any of the pictures because Mom took us a dachshunds. There were quite a few in the same plain costume so we didn't get our picture taken. Maybe Mom will be a little more creative this year. (It's not like she could be LESS creative!!)

Hey, we were wondering what names your humans call you. We have our names and then Mom calls us other stuff too.

Roxie: Roxie Doodle, Doodle, Baby Girl, Princess
Sammy: Sammers, Samwell Barkamaus, Big Boy, Sergeant Sammy
Andy: Andy Rooney, Andy Roo, Roo, Roo-Roo, Baby Boy (Hey! I'm a big boy too!!)

We just know your humans call you nick-names. What are they?
