Two Years of Blogging and a New Creature

We just realized we have been blogging for two years. Actually our blogiversary was April 9th. We sure made entries more often back then. Obviously we need to have some new experiences to tell you about. But, speaking of new experiences ...

We had a new potential invader to the back yard! It was right by the fence and it had nerves of steel! We were right there barking at it and trying dig under the fence and it just sat there. It didn't even move one muscle! But we were brave and kept trying to get to it. We had never seen a creature like this!

Mom says it was a turtle. She also says we have to tell you it was about 4 inches across and 5 inches long and tucked into its shell the whole time we were barking at it. We didn't know it was hiding. We thought it was taunting us by just sitting there. We sure wish we had a picture of the invader but it was kind of dark and Mom seemed more interested in blocking our digging then taking pictures.

Anyway, that is the latest excitement out in the country. Mom says she needs to get ready for work now. We'll be back later!

Just a Quick Question

Mom uses Blogline to keep up with all our friends blogs. This morning she got up and the little icon in the tray said she had over 440 new entries to read. She has gone to a few of the blogs and has discovered that lots of older entries are listed as new entries. Has anyone else run into this situation? It was a challenge for her to even start reading when she believed she was 400+ entries behind!

Ok, we have other things to talk about but Mom said she took the day off from work to help a friend move so she has to get busy! We'll see you soon!

Hey Everydog, cat and GirlGirl!

Sorry to drop out of sight. Mom has some friends in town and she seems to think it is more important to visit with them then help us with our blog. We have a few things to share with you so we hope Mom gets her priorities straight by this weekend! In the meantime, we can tell by the comments that some of you are starting to get a little worried about us. We don't ever mean to worry you so we do apologize profusely for our lack of blogging.

We Can Follow Instructions

Hey everydog! Notice anything different? Look at the picture in your address bar! We made Roxie show up there instead of the standard logo. Boo left a link at the Bone Zone for the instructions so we followed them and **MAGIC** our picture changed. We think it is pretty cool. Now if we can just find a picture of all three of us ...

UPDATE: We just saw this in IE6 and the image does not show up. So, if you are using IE6, don't think we have lost our minds.

Not much happening here. It is chilly at night and warms up during the day. Mom thinks we should be outside part of the time. She had some work she brought home so outside we went.

Some of you were wondering about Roxie's weight ... she weighted 22.7 pounds yesterday. She is a standard dachshund and they weigh a lot more than miniatures but she really shouldn't weigh more than 21 or 21.5 pounds so Mom is keeping an eye on her. She might even make her do some exercises. Hey, next weekend she can chase cows since we are going to see our land. (We humor Mom because she thinks the land belongs to Aunt Bec and her but we know better ...)
