Today is our grandparents' 56th wedding anniversary!! Mom got Grandma to scan her wedding picture. The quality isn't that great but, remember, this picture is 56 years old! Mom worked on it a little with Adobe Photoshop but decided the original was better than anything she had done. So, without further delay, here is a picture of our grandparents on their wedding day.
Aren't Mom's parents a good looking couple? Mom is short like her mom and looks a lot like her dad. One of these days she might let us post a picture of her.

Roxie, Sammy and Andy,
Happy anniversary to your Grandma and Grandpaw. We can see why you and your Mom are so proud of them...56 years is a long time. We don't have grandparents cause they were all gone before we came along but our Mom said our Grandpaw Sam was the one that started the dachshund tradition in our family and we are darn glad he did.
Since we don't have a Grammy or Gramps could we mayble share yours whne we come see the new doghouse?
Give them a big (((hug))) and some kisses for us........love Mona, Jacks, Toby and Bradley too!!!
Happy Anniversary to your grandparents. Pretty special!!
Happy Anniversaaryyyy to your grandparents!!
:)
I wonder if the postman mailed the package from me to you yet??
We say have an extra special one from us. Mistress's parents were married just ten days after yours (same year) but they only got to 51 anniversaries. I have to go because she has those silly wet eye thingies.
Your grandparents deserve at least 56 Dachsie kisses.

Happy Belated Anniversary to your grandpa and grandma
Hi Roxy, Sammy & Andy!
Wishing your grandparents a very happy anniversary!!!
Love,
Reina
Ah ha! A hint about your Mom! My Mom's says to tell you her parents were married in 1951 and if Grammy was still alive, they would have had their 56th anniversary in June. How about that! And they were married in Texas, in Pasadena.
actually they were married in Humble, not Pasadena.
