Our Christmas Card

Hello All!

We know there are many of you who found out about the DWB Christmas card exchange too late to participate or you were already committed to another exchange. So many of our friends asked to see our card, we promised to post it. As promised, here is a picture of our Christmas card.

Technical details:

Mom used Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 for all of the editing. She used pictures taken with an Olympus Camedia C-740 when we were forced to pose for the DWB calendar and combined parts of two of them to make this one. Sammy and Andy are from the original picture; Roxie is from a different picture. Mom added lettering and our holiday wardrobe in the editing stage. After she edited all the layers, she flattened the picture (combined all of the layers). She saved this version as a .gif to upload.
If you have mediocre computer skills and want to edit pictures, Mom highly suggests using Adobe Photoshop Elements. Most of the editing she did by trial, error, "undo edit" and re-trial. We suspect she referenced the book at least once but most of it was "let's see what this does".

Pretty slick editing, and that's from a Photoshop devotee.

I loved your card- you did a great job on it. I use Paint Shop Pro. I have PhotoShop but I learned to make graphics using Paint Shop and just stuck with that program to work on photos, too.
Peace-
