Just a Quick Note

We just wanted to make a quick note to let you know we hate football season. Mom goes off to watch a game and comes home late. In fact, on Saturday, she left and didn't come home in time to feed us dinner! It was 1:00 in the morning before we got to eat! We are sure there is some law that has been broken but we can't find it. Please tell our mom that our meal time comes before any stupid stuff she wants to do.

She was much better on Sunday. She even invited Maggie and Jake to come over to our house. Aunt Bec came too. We were able to forgive Mom since we had our cousins to play with. Besides, Aunt Bec and Mom hand out treats a little better when the five of us are together. At least, it seems like they hand out more treats.

We are back to having nasty rainy weather. It is so bad that Sammy had to bark at the thunder this morning! We had already gotten up and gone outside. We were back in Mom's bed when the thunder started. Sammy was very brave to bark at the thunder. It is loud and something BIG must make that noise. Mom decided to pet Sammy and tell him it was all right. We guess since we are in the house, the thunder maker can't get to us.

We are sorry this is so short but we have to go now. Mom is at work and we snuck onto the computer so we could tell you how mistreated we have been. You would think that work stuff was more important than us! We know that can't possible be true!

ABUSE! What is wrong down there? Football over dachsies?

If you would like a picture of all of you together or one of the other guys, post the one you like or send it/them to my mom at ddterrell@gmail.com, and I'll make one for you.

Ao4, you are right! We need to notify Meeshka as soon as possible! She would never let dachsie huskies be treated so poorly.

Cubby, you are the greatest. We will send pictures when Mom gets home. And we won't let her have the picture if she abuses us like that again!

Hope you guys aren't losing weight with all this late night eating and worrying about storms and worrying about when you'll get fed again.

Yell if you want the troups sent in. I'm sure Ao4 will oblige with leading the posse.

Chow for now,

Hey guys
Let me just say.. Sammy, you are one brave little dude for barking at the thunder maker. Apparently he is a big guy in a toga and wears thong sandals.. but this is all just hearsay.

And as for Mum not feeding you in time.. that is a CRIME of the HIGHEST degree!! I can't believe it.. did you snub her for a few hours?? That is the least of what she deserves.. she needs deprivation of your sweet loving to know what it is like to be deprived of delicious, decadent food.. mm..

Cheerio!
Dudley

I just checked with the society for prevention of cruelty and not feeding daschies until 1 am...and they said that your mom is grounded to your custody until football season in over...she will at no time be able to see any football until she learns her lesson....This NONsenNse has got to end...poor little pups...

Hi. Let me reassure you - Work stuff is never more important than our beloved feline or canine pals. It's just we need the money to home and feed you! :0)

Oh my stars your mommy should be ashamed not giving you any food til 1Am, I bet you were all starving when she got home. My mommy feeds me in the morning, afternoon, and evening. But if she is at work she makes sure my daddy feeds me.

Yeah parents can act kinda weird when there favorite sports are on. My parents LOVE soccer so all summer they were gone or screaming and well you know. At least football is almost over.

I'm on may way over to do a little barking and ankle biting right now! My momma ignores me on Sundays when she watches the games and sometimes I have to woof at her to give me a treat. I say we get together and go deflate all the footballs we can find!

Your pal,
Roo

Hi. We're Maggie and Jake. Our Mom is "Aunt Bec" to Roxie, Sammy and Andy. Our Mom read the last Dachsies Rule post and looked very sad. We asked her why and she said that Roxie, Sammy and Andy's Mom had asked her to feed them while she was away at the football game. Our Mom forgot! She feel's really bad about it and wants you all to know that Roxie, Sammy and Andy have a really good Mommy and a not-so-good aunt.
