Wow! It really rained tonight. Usually Mom will leave the back door open so we can go out to the backyard and check out everything. But tonight we only got to be outside for a little while. Then thunder started off in the distance (and Sammy started to bark at it). Mom checked the Weather Channel and there was a big storm headed our way. She made us come inside and she closed the door. We could hear the thunder and see the lightning flashes and hear the rain coming down super hard! We barked at Mom to let us outside to chase it off but she said she wasn't going to let us outside with all of the lightning. Mom can be over-protective sometimes.
When she finally let us outside, there were leaves all over our patio and everything was wet. We missed all of the fun and excitement. Some other dogs must have chased the storm away.
Mom got us a "battle tested" toy that she wanted to show you. Because of the storm, there wasn't enough light to get a good picture, but we will get one ... and we will get another picture to show you the one Roxie was chewing on. We don't want to give too much away. You know it's important to have suspense so you will come back!
Sorry we are kinda boring tonight. The storm messed up the plans. Hopefully we will be back to our interesting selves for our next entry.

Yeah that rain was scarey. Mom made us go out just before it started cause she knew we wouldnt go out later. Dont want wet bellies!
Toys?! Mom is looking for a new one for Daisy, one that doesnt squeak. Daisy squeaks on and on.. I like to tear into the toy and get the squeaker out. We won't talk about all the stuffing...

The storm was definitely tremendous last night. I jumped every time a huge clap of thunder would explode across the sky. I thought for sure there were bombs going off!

Lady & Daisy, wet bellies are terrible! We are glad to hear you made it through the storm. The tv picture showed it going right over our house!

Zeus, there is no way the thunder bothered you. You are too cool. Thanks for voting for Isabella. If she wasn't a dog, we would say she is the cat's meow! :-)

I wish I was as brave as you kids and could bark and chase storms away. But they just scare me so much all I can do is shiver and drool.
You all are great campaign managers! Thanks for all your help- I'll feel good even if I lose because I have you three as such good friends. If I run for Governor of FL. will you all be my managers?
